What is GNB1?

GNB1 Symptom is a severe neurodevelopmental disorder, characterized by global developmental delay, speech deficits, severe mobility or vision problems, intellectual disability, epilepsy, seizures, and other less common symptoms. It is caused by mutations in the GNB1 gene.

These are just some of the stories of Gen Rebelde. In Spain there are only 17 cases of the 100 that we know worldwide. We share our experience to give visibility to this disease, find a cure and help other families.

We are looking for investors to help us fund research for a cure for GNB1. We have also created, with our children, some souvenirs that you can buy in our store.

Gen Rebelde

Marc León, launched a solidarity initiative on the internet, together with relatives of other Spanish patients, to help raise funds for the study of GNB1 encephalopathy in the Genetic Therapy in the Nervous System research group of the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), led by Dr. Miguel Chillón.
